meetings is used to make important public decisions. Women who sit on
committees and boards contribute to decision-making that makes their
communities better places to live. Senior municipal staff can have a
significant impact on how decisions are made. As a member of Council
you have the very important job of setting the policy direction for
your municipality. Nova Scotia municipalities need women to be involved
in all these ways.
